Norway`s FM makes speech at ADA

Norway`s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide has visited Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA).
He viewed newly opened education centre, as well as the country`s largest library in foreign languages of the Academy.

Espen Barth Eide also delivered a lecture on “Norway`s Expreiences: Are They Relevant To Azerbaijan?” at the Academy. He said that Azerbaijan and Norway played an important role on providing of the energy in Europe.

On the similar points of both countries, Espen Barth Eide noted that despite being Azerbaijan as a young state, the country conducts successful foreign policy.

He also briefed the participants on Norway`s gaining experience in the oil and gas sphere, as well as waste of funds from the sale of energy resources.

The FM also added that Azerbaijan efficiently used the oil profits, unlike the other regional countries.

The event has brought together tutorial and student staff of the Academy, as well as MPs, the officials of the diplomatic corpus accredited in the country, the representatives of the youth organizations and Media.

Espen Barth Eide has received a memorial medal.
