Georgia's parliamentary minority suspended its work in the highest legislative body of the country on Wednesday. This announcement was made by a minority group led by David Bakradze after a two-hour meeting.
The minority believes that given the fact of authorities arresting former senior officials opposition members can not remain in parliament and form the facade of democracy.
Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia detained former deputy attorney general, the ex-Minister of Education Nika Gvaramia, former Minister of Finance and Energy Alexander Khetaguri, former Deputy Minister of Economy Kakha Damenia and CEO of "Telasi" Devi Kandel summoned for questioning as witnesses.
