Domestic flights cancelled in Turkey due to snowfall

Turkey has cancelled all domestic flights on the Ankara- Van, Istanbul-Van and Antalya-Van routes, the Yeni ?afak newspaper reported on Monday.

Earlier it was reported that the heavy snowfall in the Turkish province of Van had blocked roads to 218 villages and school lessons were cancelled.

Sharp frost has been observed in Turkey since last week. Forecasters predict heavy snowfalls this week in many provinces.
