Iranian Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani lashed out at certain big powers for their efforts aimed at creating problems in the path of talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany), IRNA reported.
'Certain global powers are creating problems in Iran's peaceful nuclear energy in a bid to prevent Iran-G5+1 talks to bear results,' Larijani said in a meeting with the visiting Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Bai Lichen.
Bai, for his part, said that Iran's independent policies in the years after the 1979 Islamic Revolution was the main cause of pressures and sanctions of the world powers.
He underlined Iran's entitlement to the right of utilizing peaceful nuclear energy.
The two sides reiterated their willingness for the enhancement of bilateral ties.
