US to keep 9 countries exempt from sanctions imposed on Iran

The United States government announced that it would continue to keep nine countries, including Turkey, exempt from the sanctions imposed on Iran as these countries significantly dropped the amount of crude oil they purchase from Iran, Anadolu reported.

In a written statement released on Friday, the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the U.S. and the international community were determined to continue to place pressure on Iran until all concerns regarding Iran's nuclear program were completely eradicated.
