Georgia's Ex-PM to be questioned again

Ex-Interior Minister and former Prime Minister of Georgia, now Secretary General of the United National Movement (UNM) Vano Merabishvili has been again called for questioning. MP from UNM, Goga Khachidze said on his Facebook page.

But he did not specify on what issue Merabishvili will be interrogated.

Merabishvili was questioned last week on the case of a fake passport. As Georgian Interior Ministry said earlier, he used a fake passport to travel outside of Georgia, when he visited Yerevan in the composition of the presidential delegation.

Yesterday former Deputy Interior Minister Gia Lortkipanidze was questioned on this case. He testified and admitted that he had a fake passport, saying that several top officials of the Interior Ministry had such passports when Vano Merabishvili was Prime Minister.
