28 November 2012 [20:09] - TODAY.AZ
The Georgian government has discussed budget priorities for 2013, Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili told reporters after a meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday.

He stressed that the state budget for next year will be different from previous ones. In particular, the costs under some articles were reduced and funding for the social sector was increased.

The PM said 52 million lari added for the Ministry of Defence through the reduction of other costs.

"There are different costs, which we are going to cut. For example, the cost of fuel in the state office, which previously accounted for 48 tons. Now they are seven times less. A palace for the prime minister, which the previous government was going to construct, will not be built," Ivanishvili said.
