Russia bans YouTube

YouTube has been included in the list of prohibited resources, Interfax reported today.

According to a statement posted on the website of the single domain name register, containing the information, the dissemination of which is prohibited in Russia, YouTube has been included in the document in connection with the requirement of the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare today.
