Ahmadinejad says necessary structures should be built to meet NAM goals

IRI President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday underlined the need to build neccessary structures in order to materialize the goals of the Non-Aligned Movement, IRNA reported.

He made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Ghanaian president's advisor for strategic and security affairs Tsatsu Chikata.

Ahmadinejad said all NAM member states are required to make contributions to establishment of a just world order.

He said Iran and Ghana share similar stance on development, justice, friendship, peace and welfare for all and that they have never attacked any country.

Ahmadinejad said Iranians and Ghanaians are not pleased with the unilateral and unjust world order because they believe a just world order will be possible only through collective contribution of all nations to the administration of the world.

He called for establishment of joint commission of Iran and Ghana as NAM founding countries to follow up the mutual goals of both countries as well as those of NAM.

Chikata, for his part, described Iran as a very influential country for leading NAM and said western countries are hatching plots against independent and NAM member states especially the Islamic Republc of Iran. For this reason, he said, Iran and Ghana can devise a suitable mechanism to expand ties and resist the West.

Calling for establishment of a joint commission, he also underlined necessity of expanding mutual ties and cooperation in all fields of interest.
