'Terror is the only threat to Turkey's future'

Terror is the only threat to Turkey's future, TRT Turk TV channel quotes the country's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying on Tuesday.

He said despite the fact that terrorist organizations are doing utmost to stir up national discord in Turkey, they will fail.

Erdogan also stressed that Ankara is doing its best for victory over terrorism, as Turks and Kurds have lived peacefully and without problem for many centuries.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has lasted for over 25 years. The PKK is recognised as a terrorist organisation by both the UN and the EU.
