Turkey, Germany to cooperate for Syrian citizens

German Red Cross and Turkish Red Crescent will cooperate to support the Syrian citizens who have been staying in container site in Turkey's southeastern Kilis province after they escaped from the violence in their country, Anadolu agency reported.

German Minister of Justice Sabine Leutheusser Schnarrenberger, who visited the site on Thursday, told AA on Friday that she was impressed with the container site in Kilis, adding that the capacity of the site was full.

Schnarrenberger said that despite the full capacity, the condition in the site was very good, and the services were very well.

Noting that there was a great solidarity in the container site, Schnarrenberger said that Germany was also in solidarity with the Syrian citizens.

German Red Cross and Turkish Red Crescent will pursue a joint solidarity program for the Syrians in the site.
