Funding of Georgian presidential administration maybe dcreased

02 November 2012 [16:58] - TODAY.AZ
Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has urged Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili to move from the presidential palace to the State Chancellery.

Ivanishvili said this at a government meeting on Friday.

He said this is connected with the maximum reduction in spending on the maintenance of the presidential administration.

"The president spends 800,000 lari ($ 1 = 1.66 lari) only for electricity," he added. "The state budget is not going to cover these costs."

Ivanishvili also said that he will be the president from 2013 and the presidential palace must pass under his submission, though he does not intend to move there.
