'Iran will leave all obstacles behind'

The great Iranian nation will be able to overcome all of its obstacles, leave it all behind and move forward towards progress, Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said today at a press conference in Tehran, Press TV reported.

Iran's president noted that the world is on the verge of great development, making a transition from one period to another, passing through numerous changes.

Speaking of Iran's path, Ahmadinejad said that establishing future without poverty and humiliation, and full of purity and honesty is the pivotal step towards overall progress.

"When justice prevails, all bad things will be removed and all human values will come to perfection," Ahmadinejad noted. "Iranian nation has been great, and enemies will have no luck at stopping its progress and development."

The president mentioned "two major events" that have happened recently, one of which was the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran, and another the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.

Ahmadinejad admitted that Iran does have its "problems, devils, and enemies". The president noted that they have been around for some 60 years, "directly standing against the Iranian nation".

"The great nation of Iran will leave behind all these obstacles and challenges, going further to prosperity and progress".

Speaking of progress, Ahmadinejad noted that every day there are news on Iran's progress in various spheres, and this showcases that the nation is on the right track.
