Turkish Air Force bombs PKK bases

Air Force of Turkey bombed bases of militants of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party in Hakkari Province, the Sabah newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, several militants were killed, and they attack on a police station was prevented.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has lasted for over 25 years. The PKK is recognised as a terrorist organisation by both the UN and the EU.
