A 4.3-magnitide earthquake hit the city of Varzaqan this morning in Iran's East Azerbaijan province, the ISNA news agency reported.
The earthquake occurred at 9:30am local time. No casualties have been reported.
On August 11, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake rocked Iran's East Azerbaijan Province killing more than 300 people and injuring about 2,500.
The epicentre of the earthquake was in the cities of Ahar, Varzaqan and Heris. Some 115 villages were completely or partially destroyed as a result of tremors.
