'Muslim nation can destroy all arrogant powers'

17 August 2012 [15:55] - TODAY.AZ
A muslim nation is able to destroy all the arrogant powers that do not respect basic human rights, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, PRESS TV channel reported live.

Ahmadinejad made the remarks during his speech today in Tehran, when Iran marks the International Quds day.

Iran marks the International Quds day, a day of global solidarity with Palestine. The International Quds day is being marked in all of Iran's cities, and among muslims in other countries as well.

Rallies began in Tehran and other cities at 10:30 a.m. local time. The demonstrators demanded the release of Quds (Jerusalem) and urged Muslim nations to unite.

"The majority of world's dictators depend on zionists, hopefully one day they will all be awakened," Ahmadinejad said. "Most governments are affiliated with zionists, their people do not have any right to choose."

Ahmadinejad noted that all nations must go after restoring their own rights, and urged everyone to respect the basic human rights.

"Enemies to some extent have succeeded, take a look at what is happening in the region," Ahmadinejad said. "They seek wealth, they victimize everything, they sell weapons and cause destabilization."

He urged everyone to remain cautious of enemies' actions, and be vigilant.
