The number of injured in an attack by militants of terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party on Turkish servicemen in the province of Izmir reached 30, the Sabah newspaper reported on Thursday.
Earlier one soldier was reported to be killed and four injured.
The conflict between Turkey and the PKK which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state has been on-going for more than 25 years claiming over 40,000 lives. The PKK group is recognised as a terrorist organisation by the UN and the European Union.
