Search for missing Ukrainian climbers resumed in Georgia

Search for Ukrainian climbers missing at the summit of Ushba was resumed today at daybreak.

Fifteen Georgian rescuers and two Ukrainian climbers left base camp for the summit of Ushba, Georgian Interior Ministry's Emergency Situations Department told Trend on Thursday.

According to the report, the accident occurred during the descent from the summit.

According to one of the climbers Victor Taranik, after the conquest of the height they were going down, when the rope of Sasha Taranik and Dima Voloshin broke at 3600 meters. The climbers fell into the gorge.

Ukrainian climbers arrived in Georgia for conquest of Ushba on July 13.
