NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Alexander Vershbow will visit Georgia. The visit will take place on June 28-29, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania told reporters on Monday.
Vershbow will take part in a security conference to be held in Batumi.
"This visit is the continuation of cooperation between NATO and Georgia and a fairly successful Chicago Summit," Jalagania said.
He said the visit will focus on the participation of Georgia in the ISAF and the role of Georgia in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan, including after 2014.
