Iran's president severely criticized U.S. policies

President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is on a visit to China, severely criticized the US policies while addressing a gathering of students in Beijing University, IRNA reported.

President Ahmadinejad is in Beijing to attend the 12th summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held on June 6-7.

Speaking before students, Ahmadinejad noted that the U.S. is trying to devour the whole world, it has triggered many wars and together with Israel is constantly pressing the Palestinian nation.

Saying that both Iran and China enjoy an ancient history of culture and civilization, he added that the two nations have also the experience of fighting colonial powers.

President Ahmadinejad believed the mission of Iranian and Chinese governments was to promote love and peace in the world.
