Quake jolts Iran

A strong earthquake took place in Iranian Mashhad city and adjacent areas, İRNA news agency reported. According to the Seismological Center at the Tehran University's Geophysics Institute, the earthquake took place at 16:07.

Mashhad city is located in Iranian Razavi Khorasan Province. Many pilgrims visit this city for pilgrimage purposes, as the eighth Imam Reza's shrine is located in this city. There is no information about the earthquake power, damage and victims yet.
