Healthcare system is most corrupted field in Armenia

Healthcare system is the most corrupted field in Armenia, said expert in management field Armen Khudaverdyan, News.am reported.

The survey conducted among 4,500 respondents showed that the most corrupted is healthcare system (68.3%), followed by election system (66.4%) and education (62.3%). The expert also recalled that Armenia has a score of 2.6 in the Corruption Perception Index 2011 issued by Transparency International.

The Corruption Perceptions Index ranks countries based on how corrupt their public sector is perceived to be. A country's score indicates the perceived level of public sector corruption on a scale of 0 - 10, where 0 means that a country is perceived as highly corrupt and 10 means that a country is perceived as very clean.
