Azerbaijan`s President congratulates President of Switzerland

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev yesterday sent a congratulatory letter to Mrs. Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf on her election as President of Switzerland. “We attach great importance to comprehensive development of Azerbaijan-Switzerland relations”, the letter says.

The President expresses confidence in the letter that friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries will further strengthen and expand in accordance with the interests of “our peoples”. The Azerbaijani leader wished Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf robust health, happiness and successes in her activity for the welfare of the Swiss people.
