'Youth of CIS should learn to understand each other'

“Youth of the CIS - the future of public diplomacy” forum is underway in Moscow. Along with representatives of the youth organizations of the CIS countries, the Forum is also attended by representatives of Azerbaijani youth - the Association on Integration of Youth of Azerbaijan into Europe, the Union of the Youth Students` Organizations of Azerbaijan, the Association of Russian Youth of Azerbaijan, etc.

Participants of Forum were greeted by the head of Federal Agency on CIS Affairs, the compatriots living abroad and international humanitarian cooperation ("Rossotrudnichestvo") Farit Mukhametshin.

The youth was addressed by the president of “New Eurasia” Foundation Andrey Kortunov, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu, the deputy of the State Duma Ramazan Abdulatipov, and also the deputy director of the First Department of the CIS countries Andrey Shvedov.

Polad Bulbuloglu in his speech addressed the youth, noting that it is the first similar forum of the youth whose purpose is to establish dialogue in all CIS territory. The diplomat underlined that it is the main way to adjustment of communications among the peoples of member countries of Commonwealth. “It is important, that the youth of the CIS has learned to understand each other”, he stressed.

The ambassador of Azerbaijan noted that “20 years have elapsed since disintegration of the great and rich country, there was a lot of unpleasant. But there has now come understanding time”. “It is necessary to develop this movement” the Azerbaijani diplomat stated.
