Hungarian diplomat hailed tourism potential of Shaki

Hungarian Ambassador Zsolt Chutora paid a visit to Shaki region of Azerbaijan. In the meeting with Shaki governor Elkhan Usubov the Ambassador was informed on history, economy, culture, tourism potential of Shaki. Usubov pointed out relations between the two countries develop in all spheres.

Chutora expressed satisfaction with his Shaki trip. He hailed tourism potential of Shaki region and stressed they are interested in cooperation in tourism field. The sides exchanged keepsakes.  As part of the visit, Hungarian Ambassador also visited Kish village where he viewed an ancient Albanian church, “Shaki-Silk” JSC, got acquainted with Palace of the Khans and Yukhary Caravanserai (Upper Caravanserai) hotel complex built in XVIII-XIX centuries.
