Russia, Azerbaijan mull military-technical coop

Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev is paying a working visit to Russia. Defense Ministry’s press service reported that  Safar Abiyev met with his Russian counterpart Anatoly Serdyukov.

The ministers discussed the current state and prospects of the military, military-technical cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, including conditions of lease of Gabala radar. As the continuation of the discussions, the commission recently set up by Russia regarding Gabala radar will visit Azerbaijan.
