Baku hosts conference on “Effective public administration: time challenges”

A conference titled “Effective public administration: time challenges” has today started in the Academy of Public Administration under the Azerbaijani President. The event is attended by representatives of the state authorities, representatives of the Academies of Public Administration of Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine, experts, ambassadors as well as international organizations and NGOs.

Opening the conference, first pro-rector of the Academy Alikram Abdullayev spoke of the importance of the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of restoration of Azerbaijan`s independence. He informed the participants on Azerbaijan`s accomplishments. The conference discusses public administration reforms, successes and consequences, foreign experiences.
