“Azerbaijanis living in Russia plays an important role in the development and deepening of the Azerbaijan-Russia relations,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in a letter to the participants of the 3rd Congress of All-Russia Azerbaijani Congress, which wrapped up on Friday in Moscow.
Strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Russian Federation in political, economic, cultural and other areas is at a very high level, the letter says.

The President said that Azerbaijanis living in Russia are integral part of the multinational Russian society. “The Congress has created branches in almost all regions of the country and within a short time became one of the most influential public associations,” said President Ilham Aliyev in the letter.
