President Ilham Aliyev receives NATO Deputy Secretary General - UPDATE- PHOTOS

President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday received NATO Deputy Secretary General Hussein Dirioz. The guest briefed the President on the upcoming meetings in Baku. The NATO senior official said he regards an international seminar on "Border security and fight against drug-trafficking" to be organized in Baku as a “significant event and great contribution into the Euro-Atlantic space of security.”

According to Dirioz, the seminar will cover large areas of cooperation between NATO and Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev said cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO in various areas successfully develops. The Head of State welcomed the organization of the seminar and emphasized the importance of establishing a framework of cooperation to ensure border security.
