Development of Azerbaijan-Romania relations mulled

Member of Azerbaijani delegation to the Euronest PA, MP Fuad Muradov is on an official visit to Romania on Nov.20-23. During the visit, he held several meetings in Romania, particularly he met with Speaker of the Romanian Parliament Roberta Anastase, Chairman of the Romanian Parliamentary Industry and Services Committee Iulian Iancu and MP Viorel Constantinescu.

The meetings mulled development of the Azerbaijan-Romania relations and activity of the inter-parliamentary friendship group.

Mr.Muradov said today Azerbaijan is among the countries with high dynamics of economic development. He also informed the Romanian parliamentarians about Armenia’s aggressive policy, occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani territory and the fact about one million people turned into refugees and IDPs as a result.

Fuad Muradov noted Azerbaijan’s efforts to peacefully settle the Nagorno Karabakh problem. However, Armenia’s ignoring even the UN Security Council resolutions and rudely violating the international conventions was informed to the Romanian parliamentarians.
