Working Group on Caspian legal Status to hold meeting next week

On November 22-23, the Working Group on the Caspian Legal Status will hold its next meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan’s embassy in Baku said.

Deputy Foreign Ministers of the five Caspian littoral states will attend the meeting.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov said much work has been done for the determination of the legal status of the Caspian Sea, but some serious issues still remain unresolved. He said they hoped to finish the discussions next year.
