Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine meets country`s Justice Minister

Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli met with the country`s Justice Minister Alexander Lavrinovich. During the meeting, the sides pointed out that Azerbaijan and Ukraine are interested in intensifying cooperation in the framework of the treaties on legal assistance.

According to the Azerbaijani diplomat, the embassy would be thankful for receiving information, in the framework of legal agreements, on the number of Azerbaijani citizens under investigation, convicted and those serving a sentence under court rulings in Ukraine. This will help the embassy to protect rights of Azerbaijani citizens living in Ukraine.

The parties agreed on boosting ties between relevant bodies of the two countries. Lavrinovich invited Azerbaijani Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov to visit Ukraine.
