IAEA representative Andrei Chupov: It is possible for Azerbaijan to become familiar with the report on activity of Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant

“It is possible for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey to become familiar with the report on activity of Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant in Armenia.

But it requires the definite time, because the International Atomic Energy Agency has the internal procedures”, Representative of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for Azerbaijan Andrei Chupov said.

Chupov said that the constant examinations were held in Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant. After the definite time, the IAEA’s report on examinations in Metsamor plant will be available not for only the regional countries, but all countries: “There is no secret. But this issue relates to Armenia. We just make a report and present it”.
