President Ilham Aliyev attends official reception to mark 20th anniversary of restoration of Azerbaijan`s independence - PHOTOS

An official reception to mark the 20th anniversary of restoration of the independence of Azerbaijan was held yesterday in Buta Palace. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attended the reception.

The Head of State and First Lady were warmly welcomed by the participants. The national anthem of Azerbaijan was performed. President Ilham Aliyev made a speech at the event. Then, the participants saw a documentary featuring accomplishments achieved in Azerbaijan over the past 20 years. The reception continued with a concert program.
