Azerbaijan provides guarantee to European Broadcasting Union on visa facilitation owing to Eurovision-2012

“Azerbaijan provided a guarantee to the European Broadcasting Union on visa facilitation owing “Eurovision-2012”, Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev told journalists.

He said that he didn’t’ believe in realization of this process by that time: “The mandate was submitted to the Council of European Union. They have no decision yet. The decision will be passed I the near future and the negotiations will start after that. The question is not only the visa facilitation, at the same time the question is a readmission.

If theoretically we can settle the visa facilitations till that period, we must also settle the readmission issue, because these two documents are associated with each other. If there is no second document, the first document will not be operative”
