US State Department’s Director of Office arrives in Azerbaijan

Director of the Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the US Department of State Justin Friedman arrived in Azerbaijan, spokesman for the US embassy in Azerbaijan Keith Bean said.

Friedman arrived in Baku within his South Caucasus tour. He will hold meetings in Baku with the officials, representatives of civil societies.

The development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of security, energy and democratic reforms, as well as regional issues will be discussed at the meetings. The visit will end on October 7.
