Azerbaijan`s President congratulates German counterpart on country`s public holiday

Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev on Saturday sent a congratulatory letter to his German counterpart Christian Wulff on the country`s public holiday- German Unity Day. The President says in the letter that Azerbaijan-Germany relationship is in the way of development.

The Head of State describes strong friendly relationship between the two countries and peoples as favorable basis for continuation of political dialogue and deepening economic and humanitarian cooperation.

The President expresses assurance that Germany-Azerbaijan bilateral cooperation and joint activity in the framework of the Eastern Partnership program will further serve welfare of the two countries` peoples.

President Aliyev wishes his German counterpart robust health, successes in his activities and the people of Germany peace and prosperity.
