Azerbaijani Ombudsman invited as observer for Kyrgyz presidential elections

Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova is being invited to observe the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan.

The Central Commission for Elections and Referendum invited Suleymanova to observe the presidential elections, scheduled for Oct. 30 in Kyrgyzstan, as an international observer of transparent elections, the Ombudsman office told Trend on Tuesday.

The Azerbaijani ombudsman is expected to observe preparations for the elections and voting process.

Suleymanova and employees of Ombudsman Office, as well as its regional centers, fulfilled the mission as independent observers in all elections held in Azerbaijan, and have relevant experience.
