Participants of 61st session of WHO Regional Committee for Europe visit Alley of Honors and Alley of Martyrs in Baku

Participants of the 61st session of the World Health Organization`s Regional Committee for Europe yesterday visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the tomb of Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev.

They also put a wreath and flowers at the grave of the prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

Then, the participants visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity. Here, they also laid a wreath at the Eternal Fire monument. The visitors enjoyed a panoramic view of Azerbaijan`s capital.
