St Petersburg`s new governor gives interview to Azerbaijani journalists

A group of Azerbaijani journalists yesterday met the new governor of Saint-Petersburg, Georgy Poltavchenko who was born in Baku.

During his first interview to foreign journalists, the governor answered questions on Russia-Azerbaijan relationship and projects to be carried out in St Petersburg.

Poltavchenko also briefed the journalists on the prospects for development of relations between Azerbaijan and St Petersburg, the role of the Azerbaijani community in the city, and shared his memories of Baku.
