PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs to visit Azerbaijan in November

The PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs for Azerbaijan Pedro Agramunt Font de Mora and Joseph Debono Grech scheduled to visit Azerbaijan in November, the source in OSCE said.

The date and the program of the visit will be determined after the PACE’s autumn session, which will be held in Strasbourg on October 3-7, 2011.

The purpose of the visit is to assess the fulfillment of Azerbaijan’s commitments undertaken in the Council of Europe.

The co-rapporteurs have visited our country with the similar mission in February this year. They met with the Azerbaijani President, Speaker of the Parliament, Justice Minister, National Security Minister, CEC chairman, representatives of the political parties and Ombudsperson.
