Farhad Abdullayev: European Court’s some decisions concerning Azerbaijan can be disputed, but the fact is that these decisions are fulfilled

“European Court’s some decisions concerning Azerbaijan can be disputed, but the fact is that these decisions are fulfilled”, chairman of the Azerbaijan’s Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev said during the training courses for local election officials in Baku.

Abdullayev said the European Court of Human Rights was receiving a lot of complaints from various countries concerning the violation of voting right.

“All thesis of the European Convention are acceptable for us. If there is a discrepancy between the European Convention and Azerbaijani legislation, the thesis of the Convention should be used as a guide”, said Abdullayev.
