CEC continues training courses for local election officials

The Central Election Commission continues the training courses for the district election commissions’ officials on voting right. On the second day of the courses, chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov spoke about the election culture in Azerbaijan.

Head of Public Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov made a report entitled “Transparency institution in election (referendum) processes and mass media’s role in its implementation”. He spoke about the ancient and modern election practice of the world.

Deputy principal director of organizational and control issues of the Justice Ministry Subhi Kazimov mentioned the rights and duties of participants of the election process.

The participants attended a workshop on some specifics of local and international monitoring.
