German ambassador visits Azerbaijan`s Shamkir region

German ambassador to Azerbaijan Herbert Quelle has visited Shamkir region. The German ambassador visited Istiglal park the city center. He also viewed the houses where Germans once lived. Quelle also visited the building of Shamkir government.

The ambassador also visited Lutheran Church built by Germans in 1909. He also familiarized himself with archaeological digs held by German experts in Garajamirli village.
