Embassy: Egypt interested in security and stability in South Caucasus

The Arab Republic of Egypt gives a great interest for security and stability of the Caucasus region as a part of security of the whole region, and reaffirms its position of the importance of settlement of disputes by peaceful way in accordance with principles of international law and in the context of international legality, the country’s embassy in Azerbaijan reported.

Egypt is pursuing closely the ongoing efforts to solve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and particularly the efforts of Minsk Group of OSCE and is looking forward for the success of these efforts to solve the conflict and to achieve peace in accordance with the relevant resolutions of Security Council of United Nations, the statement reads.
