“The attitude towards the other religions in Azerbaijan can become a model for all Muslim countries”, said President of the faction of the European People’s Party in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Luca Volonte in the roundtable held in the State Committee on Work with Religious Organizations.

Volonte said that the Azerbaijani model was not limited to the policy conducted on the toleration, it is also an appearance of internal quality of Azerbaijani people: “The freedom of religion is one of the most important personal freedoms. It is interesting for us to study this real situation in Azerbaijan”.
