Tragic death of a 13-year old girl enrages Azerbaijani nation

The ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) had made a statement over death of a 13-year-old Azerbaijani girl by Armenians. The statement says that tragic death of 13-year-old Aygun Shahmaliyeva caused deep anger of the whole Azerbaijani nation. The statement also reads that dirty acts of Armenians, who select minors as target, are part of the genocide policy of Armenians against our nation which has lasted for many years.

Regular violation of ceasefire and murder of civilians, especially minors by Armenians in the period of the intensive negotiations on the settlement of Armenia- Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, shows they are not sincere and prove their purpose to break off the negotiations process.

The killing of 9-year-old Azerbaijani child Fariz Badalov by Armenian sniper in March and other such terror acts are the consequences of racist point of view reflected in Armenian state policy.

The real face of Armenians clearly can be seen in such facts. The New Azerbaijan Party strongly condemns such bloody anti-human acts of Armenian side, calls the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and world community to respond to the problem, and act more decisively in order to stop the Armenian aggression and children murders.
