Romanian delegation visits Museum of Modern Art in Baku

A delegation of Romania`s leading Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) led by Mayor of Bucharest`s Sector 2 Nekulay Ontsanu, who is visiting Baku by invitation of New Azerbaijan Party, has today visited the Museum of Modern Art.

The delegation was told the museum was established on the initiative of the Azerbaijani first lady, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva.

The exposition includes avant-garde works and sculptures by Azerbaijani artists. The Romanian delegation viewed works by outstanding Azerbaijani artists, including Sattar Bahlulzade, Boyukagha Mirzazade, Elmira Shahtakhtinskaya, Tahir Salahov, Omar Eldarov, Nadir Abdurrahmanov, Museyib Amirov, Mahmud Rustamov and Rasim Babayev.

The museum features an art hall for children, restaurant, video hall and art-cafe.
