Azerbaijani PM receives Secretary General of International Social Security Association

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh received Secretary General of the International Social Security Association Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, who came to Baku in order to attend the international seminar on Social protection and globalization of labor migrants”, organized by the State Social Protection Fund, International Social Security Association and International Association of Pension Funds and Insurance.

Highly assessing opening of coordination center on Eurasian region of the International Social Security Association in Baku, the guest said this fact was another argument that our state pays special attention to social issues. It was noted that that regional center would be efficient for our country from viewpoint of improvement of relations between several social protection organizations of the world, getting a direct access to information, using of the international practice in this sphere.

Thereafter, it was noted that, the issue on extension of social security coverage on the entire world, social protection of migrants in Eurasia, finding of acceptable models for protection of labor migrants’ rights and etc would be discussed during the international event to last 2 days by the participation of officials of insurance and pension funds of Germany, Russia, Holland, Albania, Poland, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Spain, Sweden and etc countries, as well as representatives of several organizations.

Views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest at the meeting also attended by State Social Protection Fund chairman Salim Muslumov.
