US Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs arrives in Azerbaijan

US Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Andrew Shapiro arrived in Azerbaijan.

Shapiro leads the US delegation, which will participate in the next round of Azerbaijan-US security dialog on June 24 in Baku. The dialogue will be dedicated to the bilateral security issues in the fields of international security, fight against terrorism, cross-border security and prevention of nuclear proliferation.

Shapiro will hold high-level meetings in Baku. The diplomatic initiatives directed toward the solution of common security problems will be discussed at the meetings.
